Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask!

Hi all!

It's review time again and it's a good-un!!

I’ve wanted to try this mask for absolutely ages! However it’s not cheap at £30 I was a tad reluctant to part with my cash especially as I have the world’s most annoying skin. My skin will react to any random product without warning….which makes life that bit more stressful!

But anyway, in a nutshell I’m so glad I bit the bullet with this mask…..it is amazing!!!!!! I love you Ren!! <3 <3 <3

Packaging

I quite like the packing, it comes with a pump which is fab, and it has a little stopper to cover the nozzle…I guess to stop the product getting contaminated? Nice touch. The packaging is quite simple, nothing fancy and it comes with a lovely 100% cotton cloth.

The Product

The product smells sooooo good, it has a orangey/citrusy type smell which I love. The product itself is thick and sticky, kinda like honey but a bit grainier. It smoothes over the skin amazingly, there’s no chance of dripping, once you place this bad boy on your skin…it will not budge!

How I use it

  1. First things first, I cleanse my skin as usual making sure it’s nice and prepped for the mask.
  2. I apply about half a pump on my face and jaw line (now I know the directions state to apply a generous amount, which I did the first 2 times, then I realised I don’t want to run out of this too quick so Id rather be stingy then generous!).
  3. I leave the mask on between 10-15 minutes, directions state to leave on for 10 minutes.
  4. I then take the cotton cloth wet it under hot water, wring out the excess, and gently take the mask off.
  5. Finally I splash my face with warm water then pat dry.

I have to say I love that this mask doesn’t dry hard like some others. It stays moist and sticky on the skin which is far more comfortable, plus it only has a slight orange tinge in colour so you won’t be scaring the kids wearing this!

The Claim

'A potent bio active peel mask designed to renew the complexion, reduce the appearance of fine lines and dramatically improve skin tone'

Results

As soon as you apply the product it seems to smooth out the skin and give it a moisture boost.

However it’s a whole other level of amazingness when you take it off, honestly my skin feels soo smooth and soft like I have new skin, smooth as a baby’s butt comes to mind! Lol

It also makes my skin look more radiant and less dehydrated and tight (side note – my skin is quite dehydrated at the mo). Even the day after using the mask I can see that my skin feels and looks better...healthier even. It definitely seems to live up to its claims...I love this stuff!!

Final Thoughts

I adore this mask, probably the best I’ve ever used and I would highly recommend it to everyone. No matter what your skin time I think this is great for all. Those peeps out there with uber sensitive skin don’t be sad I’m in the same boat as you and this product works like a joy for me (touch wood).

I know it’s expensive, I really wish it was cheaper, under £20 even. But its worth all those little pennies so I’d say start saving and the next time you want to treat your skin go for this.

I would look out for the 10% off offers that lookfantastic.com have on this, that’s when I got mine!

I hope you guys liked my review and found it useful, let me know your thoughts. Have you tried this mask? If yes what do you make of it, if no will you be trying it?

Until next time...keep smiling :-)

  2. I loooove this stuff, I'm on my second bottle and will keep repurchasing! Your half pump is fine, I use one and it works just as well. It pains me to think of hoe much product I wasted when I first got it, I used to use two pumps!! Ugh! Haha xx
