So I've just realised that although I'm continuously shopping I've yet to do a haul post on my blog!!! So I thought why not share what I picked up in town this week. Mainly make-up really, no surprise there.
I popped into Boots and there's currently a 3 for 2 offer on all 17 products. I'm quite a big fan of 17 make-up and I saw they've brought out a couple of new products, 2 of which I picked up. Firstly there's the new 'Miracle Matte foundation' which is an oil free matte foundation with a matte/satin finish. I also got the new 'Instant Glow shimmer brick' which is so pretty, it would be a great highlighter. My 3rd item was the mirror shine lipstick I've had one before and it's moisturising, easy to wear and the colours are sheer so it's great for daytime. (http://www.boots.com/en/17/)
In Superdrug and Boots there's also a 3 for 2 offer on all Max Factor products, I love their miracle touch foundation so I picked one up (I find the best time to get this is when they have this offer as it normally costs £13). I also finally got the Elixer lipstick which I have heard great things about so can't wait to use it and then I got the smoky eye effect eyeshadow stick (which is double-ended). This seems like it would be easy to use to get an instant smoky eye...but we'll see. (http://www.superdrug.com/a-z-brands/max-factor/icat/maxfactor/)
17 lipstick - shade 'Hollywood', Max Factor lipstick - shade 'Firefly' |
£1 from Primark (in the sale)
£2 from Primark |
£2 (using discount voucher) from Boots- shade 'Poolside Blue' |
I got a nail polish from Boots No.7 using my £5 off voucher and I got a few bits of jewellery and a make-up bag . So I'm pretty happy with my buys, nothing can beat a bit of retail therapy, don't ya think? ;-)
Have you girls tried any of the above or purchased them, do let me know your thoughts?

DeleteNice haul.. I actually want all 3 of the Maxfactor products you purchased! I really want to try out the foundation, but thought it may be a little drying/cling to dry skin when I tested in instore.. Is this the case?

I get dry skin too and I love the foundation, to me it's moisturising. In fact I reach for this when I have dry skin days! I suggest trying it out on your skin first, I know my boots has a counter with a MUA, they can try it on you. :-)
